Biography

UNPP presidential candidate Professor Abdul Kady Karim, CPA is a citizen of Sierra Leone. He was educated at George Washington University, where he earned a BSC in Accounting in 1978, and an MSC in Financial Management in 1981. He was also a Certified Public Accountant in Washington DC in 1984. Professor Abdul Kady Karim has had a number of academic appointments including as Professor at Strayer University (USA) School of Business and Accounting and as Associate Dean of Accounting and Business - Strayer University (USA). He also has a number of professional affiliations including a fellowship at the District of Columbia Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. He is married to Haja Adiatu Sahid-Karim, and has six children.
