Biography

APC presidential candidate, Mr. Ernest Bai Koroma was born on October 2, 1952. He was educated at the Sierra Leone Church Primary School, Government Secondary School (Boys), and Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Following his graduation from Fourah Bay College, he taught at St. Francis Secondary School in Makeni before joining the Sierra Leone National Insurance Company in 1978. He has held a variety of professional positions including Managing Director, Reliance Insurance Trust Corporation, Fellow of the West African Insurance Institute, and Associate of the Institute of Risk Management in the UK. He and his wife Mrs Sia Koroma have two children, Alice and Dankay.
